Rough fir advantage Our rough fir product is not milled like smooth spruce or treated lumber. The dimensions are accurate within a 1/4". Our timbers have a lot of potential for planing and can be made into smooth product and have a lovely red hue to the boards. We have the capability to rip boards at our milling yard and if you wait we can send your boards away to be cut to your preference. Rough cut boards tend to be stronger and have a lesser chance of warping than smooth, milled boards. We have all our rough fir boards on sale for the entire month of May. Make sure you take advantage today and get the rough fir advantage!
